The Heart Behind Southern Rhodes
We’re Marissa and Michael Hinks, a family of five raising Rhodesian Ridgebacks on a few acres in Huntsville, TX. Our journey began with our first Ridgeback, Zuri, and quickly grew into a passion for sharing this loyal, intelligent, and affectionate breed with others. At Southern Rhodes, our dogs are family first — living indoors, loved daily, and staying with us for life. Breeding is our passion, but creating happy, healthy companions is our promise.
